Wild Horses on Four Springs Trail, White Mountains Arizona, near Pinetop
Just outside of Phoenix, a 3 hour drive up a beautiful highway, you’ll find the Pinetop area. Throughout this region are unbelievably beautiful hikes and scenery, including HUNDREDS of wild horses living in the area. We hiked a gorgeous yet easy trail named Four Springs, just East of Pinetop, and found a band of wild horses bathing themselves and playing in the grassy (ciénega) area next to one of the springs.
